Mat started out as a gymnast at the age of 13 and very quickly found a passion for the sport and coaching, he now has over 20 years of coaching experience. He has coached all levels of gymnastics from recreational to competitive gymnastics with many of his gymnasts achieving county champion level and going through to compete at regional level competitions.
ELYSEE MORDEL

Level 1 General Coach

Elysee has been a gymnast for 14 years and has competed at county and regional level. She was the level 4 county champion of her age group in 2019. Elysee has assisted with coaching for 2 years until gaining her level 1 qualification with Stamford in 2022.
ERIN BAILEY
Coach
Level 1 WAG Coach
​
Erin was a gymnast for 14 years, Erin's highest level of competition was at the FIG National Challenge Cup, She also competed at county and regional level for many years prior to this. Erin passed her level 1 coaching in 2019.
EVIE GRIMWOOD
Assistant Coach
Evie was a gymnasts at the club for many years and is now assisting our current coaches with the running of our recreational classes
LAURA BAILEY

MR HARRISON
Level 2 Coach
Mr Harrison along with Mat started the club back in 2012 and volunteered at the club right up to 2018 when he retired from coaching. Mr Harrison left a huge legacy behind at the club when he passed away in 2021, his passion, dedication and enthusiasm made the club what it is today.
